my usual pizza and large burger place - masala fish is excellent - well cooked, generous sizes.

Sloppy chips Over peppered chicken.- kids couldnt eat it Lamb chops not tender Sauce just smothered crassly

Extremely disappointing experience. Ordered three pizzas, chips with cheese, nachos with chicken, and regular chips. Email said food would be ready by 15:50; arrived at 16:00 and they hadn’t even started preparing it. Was told there were oven issues and to wait 15 minutes, but ended up waiting over an hour. Two pizzas came out around 16:30, the third was messy and had to be remade, then the replacement was overcooked. By that point the rest of the food was cold. Chips were given with salt and vinegar without asking, when I said I didn’t want it, I was told it’s “standard” and no replacement was offered. Food quality was below par overall. I also noticed the pizza peel being left upside down on the floor before being reused, which raised serious hygiene concerns. On top of that, staff messed up another customer’s Uber Eats order, insisting they hadn’t received it despite the customer having confirmation that the food is ready to be picked up. Poor service, poor communication, and poor hygiene.

My review today is a mixed one… order came on time which is great. Food was hot. The drink was mussing from the meal. I ordered a mixed kebab and paid £1 extra for separate salad and sauce, however there was no salad! I ordered peri fries with a meal but got peri chips! I ordered a large portion of fish and chips. As always the kids and I really enjoyed it but there wasn't much chips in there for a large portion! I rang the restaurant and they said they were really sorry and really busy and when i order next they would give me the items free that I ordered today that they got wrong! Not sure how that is going to work…

I feel sad to leave this review as I'm a loyal red pepper customer from the old glasgow days. I think the actual main problem was the website ordering system. It wasn’t user friendly and clearly not easy for staff/chef to understand either. I ordered meal deal A. Four regular kebabs of my choice. I chose one chicken tikka, one lamb tikka and two lamb tikkas with onion and pepper. One lamb tikka was plain no salad and no sauce, one was with salad and sauce and one with salad. What we got were three plain lamb tikka rolls. No onions or peppers and no sauce snd no salad! The ordering system asks if u want salad and sauce once then it asks again if u want extra salad listing each item but then coz I’ve already said i want salad and sauce it says no salad as option so i clicked that. This is where the confusion may have come. However, it still doesn’t justify that the onion and pepper didn't come. When we spoke to red pepper they said this was a topping offered to sit in customers. But then why is it an option for your online customers?! I think if the ordering system is more user friendly for both the customer and staff then maybe this problem wouldn't have happened! The delivery took long to come too. The best thing was the chips. Im always happy with your fish and chips. I always say the best in Glasgow. But sadly this time i was left very disappointed.

I am jus a stones throw away and it took over 1hr to get to me,my meals were stone cold. Very disappointed with this experience

I will give Red Pepper some leeway as they have just re opened and were short staffed. I remember Red Pepper when they were located in St Andrews drive years ago. Food tastes the same and brought back some nostalgia. Still good quality overall. All they have to do is improve service and wait times and they are hopefully onto a winner.

Ordered online, expected at 8.50pm No update online, called red pepper 89 times with no answer, no food actually came. Do not order from here, will be reporting.

Lovely food, reasonable prices and as usual best chips

On a purely personal note, I prefer chips more well done as well as the fish batter but the food was delicious. Burger meat was incredibly tasty. Fish was delicious. Huge portion. Highly recommend.
